Vinko Pandurević is a former Bosnian Serb military officer who was born on October 7, 1959, in Glogova, Bosanski Šamac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was a commander of the Army of Republika Srpska during the Bosnian War of the 1990s. Pandurević was indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Srebrenica in July 1995. He was charged with genocide, murder, extermination, persecution, and other crimes against Bosniak civilians in Srebrenica. Pandurević surrendered to the ICTY in 2004, and his trial began in 2006. He was found guilty of aiding and abetting murder and sentenced to 13 years in prison. In 2018, he was granted early release and returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
